God's message of life and salvation in Jesus Christ His Son is His eternal message of Life, forgiveness and peace. It is a message that has not, and will not change. It is the one and only message which can change sinful hearts and lives. It is the one and only message which brings the light of forgiveness and life into a sinful dark world and into sin darkened hearts and lives. We as God's children are called to share that message with all people. The theme this morning is REST be at Peace! We are invited to turn away from the sinful desire to acquire more and more, to the rest and peace which our heavenly Father gives to us as He not only provides all we need for each day of our lives, but to His rest of heart and soul, because He has provided in His Son all that we need to be at peace eternally in His presence in Heaven.
